hows it going?
Lucy Crow (they/them) was born in Nashville and is currently living in Columbus Ohio. They have recently graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design with their B.F.A. in 2D animation
While in school, they animated for Sarah Pender, a Syracuse Alumni, for her film "Boxed In" in their Sophomore year. During their Senior year, they graduated with an animated student film of their own, "B.A.C. Blood Alcohol Content," and were psyched to see it featured in multiple festivals. In their year of filmmaking, they were hired as Student Animation Interns with Ohio State University's Knowledge Exchange and worked until two months after graduation.
They served with City Year for a term from 2023-2024, giving back to the Columbus community and receiving mentorship in the business world of the arts and nonprofits. They strove to find the combination of both while improving their craft. Thanks to those connections and hard work today they are working as a facilitator with We Amplify Voices where they host in and after school programs driven by the mission statement "healing communities through creative expression". They are a Marketing Intern for Rep Jarrells of the Ohio House of Representatives as well.
They are pursuing their MFA in Design currently and cannot wait to further intertwine community enrichment and time based arts!
